Home | Need to Know

We are a private property within the Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve. We operate independently from the adjoining National Parks and Wildlife camping reserve. We ask you to be aware that the facilities provided for you in the cabins are not for the use of campers. Please, do not invite people to use showers, refrigerators, electricity or other conveniences you are paying for.

We are able to have pets on our property, as it is not National Park. However, we do not allow visitors to bring their pets. The tap water is drinkable, being tank or bore water and as we are relatively isolated here at Point Plomer and not on town supplies, please conserve the water.

The National Parks and Wildlife impose a park fee for vehicles, however it is not necessary to pay this fee or have an annual pass if you intend on leaving your car in the cabin area. If you do want to explore the National Park, you can purchase a pass from the office. Although we ask you to provide your own linen, please let us know if you have forgotten it as we would prefer to find you some rather than our quilts and mattresses be used without linen.

Consider your neighbours throughout your stay and please don’t forget to keep quiet after 10pm as people want to sleep and get up early to surf! If you have extra people staying with you, please let us know and have any day visitors leave the cabin area before 9:30pm.

Always supervise the children! There is a sign up requesting drivers to drive slowly and shut the gate as there are always small children playing in the areas around the cabins. Please ensure that furniture and facilities are treated with respect – some things may be old but they do serve their purpose.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide wood for fires but you are welcome to have a fire. Wood can be purchased at the front office. Please be sensible and supervise the children around the fire and barbeque area. Remember to keep the barbeques and barbeque area clean and tidy for the next person to use.

We have had some issues with fire wood going missing, so please be aware of this and let us know if you notice people who may not belong or who take short cuts through the area. Nobody appreciates strangers wandering in their backyard and there is no need for intrusion of your privacy and area.

We do ask you be aware that the preferred arrival time to the cabin is not before 2pm and departure time is no later than 10am. This is to allow cleaning of the cabins between guests. We are happy to be flexible if there is no booking for the day you leave, just ask and we can let you know if you can stay for a couple more hours.

Once again we welcome you to our property. Enjoy your stay here at Point Plomer. Remember to respect our environment, other visitors and the accommodation we offer you. We are happy to share our home with you so that you can experience the nature of this unique paradise.
