How do I get to Point Plomer?

From Crescent Head, turn right onto Baker Drive and travel 16km
From Port Macquarie cross the ferry and either travel the beach (4WD only) or Maria River Road to Crescent Head

Getting Here

Can I bring my dog?

We love animals but no dogs or other pets can be brought to our property. Point Plomer is surrounded by Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve, and as such, no animals are allowed.

Are the cabins self-contained?

Yes, all of the accommodations are self-contained and have hot water. We do not supply linen, blankets, pillows or towels. Please BYO

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring your own bedding (linen, sheets, blankets, towels and pillows). We also recommend sunscreen and insect repellant. Apart from that, we’ve got you covered.

Can I have my birthday, bucks or hens celebration at your cabins?

No Sorry, visitors to our property and the adjoining camping reserve are here for the quiet enjoyment of the surroundings. Please note we are not a party venue. You can book multiple cabins provided you are having a quiet gathering. 

What is there to do at Point Plomer?

Point Plomer is known for its quiet natural beauty. It is a great beach surfing spot, as well as fishing and boating. There is a boat ramp available. There are plenty of nice walks around also. Read more about Point Plomer here:

Are there shops nearby?

The nearest conveniences are at Crescent Head, which is a 15 minute drive.

Checking in

When you see the WELCOME TO POINT PLOMER sign veer left if you are travelling from Crescent Head. Right, if you are coming from Port. Proceed 500m to a wooden fence and turn right through the wooden gate. If you are all paid up and it’s after 2pm and know where you are going, your cabin will be open with the key inside. Otherwise, we are in the two-storey house with the double garage,

National Parks and Wildlife park use fees

The national parks and wildlife service impose a park use fee per car. Our property is private so you don’t need a pass. If you are parking at spots like Queens Head or other headlands toward Crescent Head you will need a pass. These are bought online www.nationalparksandwildlife.com.au

Booking process

1. Select dates and accommodation online 
2. Secure with deposit
3. Changes or cancellation to booking incurs fee (best contact via email to address changes or cancellations)
4. Pay outstanding balance at least a week before arrival date
5. If not paid by direct debit to avoid fees, (account details are on the bottom of your invoice) amount will be processed on the card provided when paying deposit. Transaction fees apply when paying by card.

Cancellation policy

All bookings require a deposit to secure the dates you wish to stay

  • Minimum deposit is 50% of your stay
  • An administration fee is payable if booking is changed or cancelled more than 4 weeks from your stay 
  • Deposits made for NSW and QLD School Holiday periods are not refundable
  • Deposits are forfeited if the booking is cancelled within four weeks before the scheduled stay
  • Please reconsider changing your dates in school holidays, as dates booked are to be paid for
